I just want to inform everyone that there is a possibility that there could be downtime this weekend. As most of you already know Hurricane Rita is heading towards Texas, and Houston seems to be right in its path. Ozzu's server is located in Houston and if the datacenter has any problems because of this hurricane you might have troubles trying to reach ozzu. I am hoping there will not be any problems, but I just wanted to let everyone know in advance just in case.

I might also suggest if you have a site hosted on servers in Houston to get a couple good backups done as well.

Whilst i would still be aware that this might be the case, i heard on the news that the Hurricaine wont really hit Houston. The same with Galveston, its going to hit more towards the west of Texas.

But if the board is down, then you will know why :)

Well, 2 days ago when Bigweb posted the warning, it looked very much like it was going to give Houston a good ass kicking. :)

Now it seems we might be out of danger, but fingers crossed. Upstream lines could still get knocked out.

Of course, after a hurricane, EVERYBODY needs a 60" Plastma TV. How else are you gonna keep up with The Weather Channel? ;)

lol, i wasnt revealing, i was inviting, and @ lucassix, they do like water, its just that water doesnt like them, besides, the i35 is right near frys and it acts kinda like an irrigation system it would probably funnel away water.

The hurricane never did hit Houston.
