Moderators play a big role here at this Webmaster Forum. They help keep the forum in order and help provide an environment that is encouraging and inviting for other fellow webmasters, developers, programmers, designers, and people who just want to learn.

Go to the link below to meet your fellow moderators. The page contains a snapshot of each current moderator and links to their profile for a little more information about them.

It only reports the title, when posted in a forum for which we have mod status.
"It's always a long day, 86,400 won't fit into a short."

First, don't post in chatspeak. That will get you nowhere fast. I can safely say all of the current mod staff hate chatspeak on the boards.
Second, be helpful to other members. That gets you noticed more than anything. The moderators discuss potential candidates openly in our private board, but the final decision is always Bigwebmaster's.
It also helps to demononstrate a good bit of knowledge in at least one or more subject category.

Oh, Chat Speak. That means posting things like " Wut u gotta do ?" Or something like that, If it does its not really a problem for me. I like to use slang because it takes less time to type and I don't have to spell everything correctly. But correct enough so people can read it,

Will Moderators have to have perfect grammar ?

Might want to review our posting rules again Skirge. Not only is proper grammer required for the mods, you'll note in the rules that chatspeak is not permitted here anyway.

We appreciate the help. Can't tell you the number of times I've had PM's from members pointing out spam and such. It does help. We have a great bunch of members who contribute towards making this such a great place.

The great thing about Ozzu is that it's not just the mods that try and keep everything running smoothly: there are a number of people who genuinely care about the "health" of the forum. It's refreshing to see - I know of a few boards where it's very much an "us vs. them" feel between the mods and the users.
