I'm not positive, but I believe the latest version of phpbb only counts 1 for any given IP. So bot's will only count 1, no matter how many from the same IP are comming in.

nice, I had some serious issues with my network that I had to resolve and for some reason this forum was slow.

After I resolved most of my problems, the speed of the load is incredible

I noticed that as well when using version 0.8. I installed 0.9 earlier today and the default scrollbar is used.

yes, firefox does not use scrollbar customization
like IE. I wish it did, but not yet from I read.

Actually about a month or two ago I decided to try the MySQL storage with this new tracking mod. It is still extremely efficient compared to the other tracking mod we used. There was no problems using cookies to track with this system, except for the fact that cookies have very limited storage space and on average the maximum topics that could be tracked was around 250. With MySQL there is really no limit other than what I set. I currently have it set for around a max of 500 topics to be tracked. Things seem to be still efficient so all is well. The mod is found somewhere at phpbb.com I think. I cannot remember exactly, maybe it is at phpbbhacks.com
