I am not sure what the problem is. Everything is working fine from what I can tell on this end. Anyway, maybe you should think about actually paying attention and participating in your I.C.T. class instead of being here on ozzu anyway.

We have now changed the read tracking system so that it stores much of this data in cookies on your own computers which should improve the performance dramatically at ozzu since we are now able to drop that read tracking database.

does that mean your using the users of ozzu computers as servers? (storing parts of posts on there machines)

No it was not storing parts of posts. It was just storing small amounts of data as cookies. Anyway at the moment it is using the MySQL database again and not using cookies. The default PHPBB board though does use cookies to track posts, however, we have changed that.

A question in 'view unanswered posts' where is the referrals code? I thought it was in 'profile' on looking its not there. I edited my answer so i'm here to find out is it still with us or not.

Thanks.

When I went to my profile and changed the settings so I wouldn't get e-mails on replies, I still do.

Yes which is expected. Basically when you have that option on and you reply to a post it will automatically subscribe you to that thread. Once you turn that off in your profile to automatically get replies, it will not longer do that for any new topics. You will still be subscribed to your previous topics though. What you need to do is goto the thread you are getting topic replies in and click on the link to unsubscribe you from that thread. Then you should stop getting emails for that thread.
