Ozzu Forum Update in Progress

This is just to inform everyone that the board will be locked down approximately 8 hours while it gets upgraded.

The update is now complete. There were a few glitches in the avatar transfer process, so if your avatar does not load you will need to reupload it.

I am sure there will be other bugs appearing as well. Feel free to post them here if you find something odd.

For anyone who lost their avatar in the switch, you can get it back relatively simply if you don't have it saved on your computer:

1) Search Google for "ozzu your-user-name" (without the quotes)

2) Find a thread that you've participated in, and open the cached copy from the search results.

3) Look in the source code to that page until you find the URL to your avatar from the old Ozzu.

4) Your avatar will be at the old location. Save it to your computer and re-upload it.

5) If you are of legal age in your respective country, grab a beer and congratulate yourself on a job well done.

The silver theme that is available will only display properly in the index page, or at least on my machine it will.

Other than that i've not come across many problems.

Many of the right menu links are broken.

Apocalypse! It appears as though I cannot search!

Bigweb has to recreate the search index. Once he has done that search will be available.

I just noticed the changes in the design :)
I like the little icons for PM/website/msn etc :D
And the colors for the mods and admins are nice too

What kind of an update is it? Phpbb 3? Tell me about it...
