Many of you may have noticed that you have some participation points. There are two ways currently to gain participation points. When you post a new topic you will gain 2 participation points. If you reply to a topic you will gain 1 participation point. Points will NOT be awarded in the following categories:

Test Forum

We reserve the right to delete new topics and posts if we feel you abusing the system by creating topics or posts that are
  • Useless
  • Not relevent to topic or category
  • Inappropriate

You may award (donate) other users some of your points if you feel they were helpful or gave really good feedback. To award points simply look for the user you wish to donate to and click on the Award button next to their name.

From time to time bonus points may be awarded to individuals who consistently help others and give clear, meaninful feedback/help.

Are there any rewards or anything associated with participation points, or do they just act like 'popularity rating points' or posts?

Can we give participation points to others that give us good information or feedback?

I don't understand y posting a thread should be two points, it makes no sence, because you would end up having more threads than there are replies,
I think if you had replies be worth more we could get more feed back, isn't that important? on the other hand, people who just care about getting pionts will probabley give you crappy feed back anyways.

Hey, there's a neat idea.. combine the points with an RPG style automated melee attack...

Attempt to rob user.. and let the computer play out an elaborate battle to see if you win or not and get his gold ;)

hehe.
