my laptop wont work.

ok well its not really my laptop its my neigbors...but she said i can have it...if i get it up and running.... i never dealt with mac but i think theyre really cool. only if i can get the dang thing to work... =(

when i press the power button...it seems like it wants to turn on but nothing happens....like when i press it.... i can feel the cd rom moving and stuff... but like it shuts off after that.....

sometimes i can hear a noise.... like umm the sound it makes when it turns off or on....that lil song.....

but the screen never lights up =( its not that battery cuz i have the laptop conected to the wall

if anyone can help....give me tips mavbe greatly apreciated =)

Remove the battery from the laptop and connect it to ac adapter and then try again. Sometimes metal tips on battery are not firmly connected, which might cause what you've described.
