Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to clear auto completing on Text fields (IE username fields).

I don't know if it's a global Mac setting or an application-wide setting.

Any ideas if this is possible?

Thanks,
Clem

I'm using Firefox and I would also like to see if it's possible to remove the auto complete for usernames in Aim and Yahoo instant messengers.

Thanks

Auto-complete isn't a system-wide thing, as far as I know. You just need to check your application preferences and make sure it's not selected. I haven't used Firefox in ages, but IIRC, one of its options on the Privacy preference pane is to remember what you enter in web forms and the search field. Untick it.
