I posted this on the windows forums.
http://www.ozzu.com/mswindows-forum/route-internet-connection-t66565.html

I am on vacation and I am useing a satilite card to connect to the internet on my windows laptop, however I want to get on-line with my mac, unfortunatly I don't have a slot for the card on my mac (it has an internal airport). My windows has an internal wireless also. I thought I could just bridge my satilite conneciton with the internal card. I completed the "new connection wizard" on my windows, yet my Mac would not detect it >.<... At first I thought it was a windows problem, now I think it might be something I'm doing on the Mac side (or maybe not). The post I made on the windows forums seems to be dead, so I decided to see if I could get some help here :D...

Thank you in advance :) .

We could tell you how to install Linux on your Mac, but I guess that won't help you very much, would it? If the Mac isn't seeing the network, then I would assume the Windows machine isn't putting it out correctly so I'd go back to that. The Mac shouldn't see any difference betwen that and say, a network put out by a wireless hub.

I'm just a lowly user here, but figured I'd ask "the man". No idea on eta.

It changes your terminal prompt to nothing and makes the text black on black. It's just a joke, when you log out of the current session your prompt will return to the way it was. It gives me a kick because I know there are those who have tried it and freaked out when their prompt disappeared - so, maybe I'm not such a nice guy after all

Then too, I could have just said "run it and see".
