Just out of curiosity, does anyone have a Blogspot blog that does well in Bing ?

I've got a Blogspot blog that's somewhere around 2 years old, according to Google Analytics there was one visitor from Bing last month. That's right, one. My conspiracy-therometer is going haywire, I can't help but wonder if Bing avoids Blogspot blogs like the plague.

If your theory were right, Bing wouldn't have even as many users as it has now. Companies can't afford to play such tricks anymore.

As for your question, I don't think any sites do noticeably well in Bing since Bing's market share is so low. Further, look at your blog's target audience: how many of them might use Bing? For example, only around 30% of visitors to my website use IE, but that's much lesser than IE's real market share.

PS: Going by your theory, maybe Google Analytics is refusing to track visits from Bing? :D

I've seen Bing make an appearance in the reports though so that wouldn't make sense.

I think too many people underestimate Bing. They tend to rely heavily on backlinks, so make sure to have plenty of them. Also, My wife has a blogspot blog and it is ranked well in Bing's SERPS for some of the Keywords. Just continue your SEO efforts. Soon enough you should see it in Bing as well.

Blog started: September 2007
Percent of Blogs traffic attributed to Bing in last 365 days: 0.14%

I'm thinking the blog just doesn't have any content "Bing people" would search for. I bet if I wrote a half dozen articles about Microsoft Windows or .NET the Bing traffic would change dramatically.
