I'd posted this in my forum so I'm going to share about it if anyone who doesn't already know this. This is brief with no illustrations.
First time use or whenever you've cleared your new IE8 browser cache. Do click on the compatibility icon near the address bar to the right. It helps to display the page with less error. Hope this helps.
