MSN will me much easier to rank for a keyword than Google. Google will take time and patience. You need to get quite few directory listings, links from other related sites to yours and be able to be patient.

i think msn needs less backlinks to rank highly than other search engines.
keyword density might be more important for it in addition to other factors
