Hotmail not working

Hotmail not working., I can get messenger no problem but when I try and get hotmail, screen stays white and little globe spins forever. Worked great until I had to do some virus removal and downloaded avast . I am running XP.

Hotmail does have problem signing in sometime just does Gmail. Gmail happened to be a bit slow last 2 days at night. Now it's fine.

for me I use both yahoo.com and hotmail.com

When you cheking an email, hotmail is faster than yahoo. But sometime hotmail very slow.

Can you still load hotmail.com to check your e-mails?

And what specific virus did you remove, and with what removal tool? For example: Spybot says: "Use on own risk!".
Cause they might remove some vital part for messenger so it can't load anymore.

I experienced the same problem with FireFox, I had some kind of virus/spyware (long time ago) and once I removed it with Spybot FireFox wouldn't load anymore.

hey can sum1 please answer my question? im terrible with everything 2do wit computers!
if i delete my email account will i still appear as a contact on my friends msn? cos im goin 2delete my old email cos i never use it but will it remain in their msn so they need 2delete it themselves?

hmmm I've didn't notice that, my msn mail works perfectly, maybe the conflict of the IP addresses..:D

They will have to delete it from there MSN. Otherwise it will stay on their list as "orphaned".

MY hotmail account has be hijacked or spammed and now when I try to sign in to my email it says the password does not match I have contacted hotmail support and gave them my infor but it has been going on three days now, I there any program out there that will help to see if I have been compromised and to get my account back from who ever or what ever took it?
