MSN Allways disconnects.

Hi im getting well and truely peed off with my msn messenger. My internet runs fine all of the time but when i sign in to msn messenger, it constantly dissconects sometimes straight away or sometimes after about 40 seconds and then i have to reconnect. Im on virgin broadband and use a belkin modem. i also struggle to download as wel. it either stops or error message comes up. but all the time my internet works fine please help thanks

Yeah, I also experience the same thing after like 5 minutes I get disconnected.

what version of MSN are you using?
What OS and Service pack?
Have you done all recent Windows updates?

im using the latest version of msn. but it also happens on my facebook, chat system, says im offline when i write something but i stay logged in to my actual facebook. Some people say its my modem but it still happens when i go back to the wire in the back.

i think there maybe some virus in your computer.. the same things happen to me tooo...

no defo not a virus coz it happens to everyones computer, so it must be somethin to do with my router or my connection.
