In case anyone is interested and hadn't heard yet:

From ZDNET

The beta search:
http://beta.search.msn.com/
It must be getting pretty well pounded with traffic . At the moment it's running extremely slow.

Yeah it's still using the same yahoo index.

http://search.msn.com (new interface) Same yahoo index results.

Nothing new.

I think it is just microsoft's soft marketing until they really launch.

What do you mean? It's prolly running on a windows server instead of linux or unix. haha! (Remember after microsoft bought out hotmail and swapped out the unix servers and there were all those performance problems?)

it's actually not returning the same results... I went to their "beta" site (search.msn.com) and it did return the same yahoo results... then I went to beta.search.msn.com and it does return different results... unfortunately my sites are way down on MSN from where they were before... anyone know what it is using to come up with those rankings yet??

yeah I don't know where they are getting your results. I guess it really is their own index. The PPC ads are slightly different than overture too.
