msn error code 800702e4

i have been experiencing this error code whenever i tried to log in my msn

im using vista and msn 2009

when i go under options - connections, my connection status shows that im not connect to .NET messenger service.

i tried searching the help topics for msn, but to no avail

anyone can help me on this issue? it had been bothering me for days.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the current build? I've seen where that usually solves that error.

I've been having this problem for 2 days now.
Removed and reinstalled messenger about 8 times so that should not be the problem....

And I have cleaned up the registry using tune up utilities 2010.
yet still nothing....

does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to solve this anoying problem?
