Results have been incredibly spammy lately. Tons of doorway pages.

Maybe they're spending too much time on their upcoming PPC Search

I don't think Msn is going downhill.

The spam sites are only temporary.

The search facility in IE 7 will help them even more.

I don't think they going downhill either, but now that it has become live, I find that my site is far lower in the rankings, even though it is a big quality site that ranks in the top rankings of Google.

In my friends case it's a bit different, htye have sandboxed his site after ranking #1 spot in a certain keyword for even months.

I wonder what could be the reason for this? Maybe there's no people left in the office.....LOL.

I like msn due to the fact that they index faster than yahoo or google, but their market share is only 10%. New sites will receive better results in the first two years with msn.

MSNs algorithm might be changing. Notice how sites ranked in msn but not in the other SEs slowly lose its rank in their SEPRS. Their results are now almost the same with Google's in some cases. :)

Yes. I have noticed the same thing too.
I only go to MSN search to see how my websites rank.
For any serious search, I stick with Google or sometimes Yahoo.
