I've noticed that more of my traffic comes from MSN vs Google or Yahoo, is this normal for a newer site?

Yes, I have optimized almost 50 sites now and you will always receive more traffic from MSN in the beginning. I usually then see Yahoo start to kick in, and Google is always (99% of the time) the last, but they will bring in the most traffic.

MSN search engine takes site for crawl within a 2 or 3 days. In short span of time you can see your site on msn rather than Google and Yahoo. They both search engines takes time to crawl and index.

How much time does it take for search engine traffic to start coming to your site?
I know that they take different ammounts of time to start sending traffic.

As far as links go my inbound links are as follow:

MSN Popularity:
1,491 Sites are Linked to this Site
Yahoo Popularity:
638 Sites are Linked to this Site
AltaVista Popularity:
715 Sites are Linked to this Site

also does anyone know how long it takes for google to give your site a rank? my site is pretty new (about a month and a half old) but it still doesnt have a rank. Is this normal?
