I recently downloaded the new version of msn which was released a few weeks ago and it is horribley bugged, error messages, unable to access my email through it, slow, restarting. I have no idea how to uninstall it there seems to be no button to remove it and it does not show up as a program on the 'add or remove programs' list.

Can anyone PLEASE enlighten me at all as to how to uninstall it, it won't let me return to the older version without uninstalling the new one.

Thanks!
Ollie

Do a restore point to a day before you downloaded it.

Please read what the poster said. "There is no button to uninstall it".

Himanshu,

Go to Start> Run
Type in this, or copy and paste it:
msiexec /x {B1403D7D-C725-4858-AACC-7E5FA2D72859}

Click OK.
That will start the uninstaller.

(I'm assuming this is Live Messenger 2009 Beta you are talking about). That command above will start the uninstaller to remove it.

For removing other Live beta's the commands are listed in this article.
