News around the campfire (slashdot) says microsoft search is pretty tight:

http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=04/0 ... hreshold=3

What should we do? I think I am going to do the paid placement, just to make sure I'm there.

I know Jess mentioned a paid placement in Microsoft would be wise because Google hits Microsoft's website with great frequency.

So here is the issue. It looks like we may have another sponsored link company on our hands (very soon).

Currently, Overture is managing the sponsored links on Microsoft......soon it will all change 'again'.

Should we be prepared for a cataclysmic event like when Google and Yahoo split?

Next we will see this headline: AOL beta tests search engine.

Here comes the break up of the big four...into two...into one! And the colliding of giants! Google search against Microsoft search!

...Meanwhile back at the ranch, the small business owners that make their survival by pay per click will be caught in the middle and rationalizing an additional 20% of their gross monthly revenue to their new rulers.

I guess thats how the game's played :-)
it depends on how you rationalise the whole thing plus taking your results into account.

Overture does not manage all the Sponsored links on MSN. You can actually buy top sponsored links in some categories from Microsoft. The cost is very, very high though.
