hi all,

Why MSN drops index page priority? i.e., if I search site:www.abc.com it is not showing index page as a first SERP result, inner page is coming. The main index page is shown at 6th or 7th place.

Can any one tell me what's the reason for dropping and also tell me how I can get index page as a first result. :(

Are you using http://www.abc.com as an example, but posting the results you are getting for your own site? Because when I run that search for ABC, http://www.abc.com is the first result.

In regards to your site, perhaps the page that has the higher SERP has more relevant keywords and is optimized better than your index page?
