Actually axe the only vote was mine, although voting for myself probably isn't fair. Lol, thanks for the thought though

Well, thanks fotbon -- very kind of you. I was happy to get at least one vote. I wasn't even expecting that. That was the first time I even tried a composition.

I actually think that everyone in this competition made an excellent effort. I discovered in doing my own it takes time to, first have a creative thought, then take the tools you have and do it within the requirements of the competition. In no way do I consider myself a graphics designer, but I will say this was FUN!

Actually, starqueen, in the bottom left table I am curios what you did with the background for the links image.

:)

well the bottom left has the images of the cans and the interlocking metal, the interlink symbol in essence. *opens the file* After spending an hour or so on cleaning up the metal image from the white background, I put it over the light "pink" using "Lighten", then I added a mask to that layer so it could fade from topright to bottomleft seemlessly. I didn't have to spend time cleaning the cans picture by just using "Multiply" over the metal and pink bg. I then went back into the metal layer and erased anything the cans overlayed (since multiplying above the metal would make it show through). Since the right can was laying on a great angle, it looks like the metal is a backdrop that kind of curves under the right can.

hehe, easy easy!!!

to add to that: (theres no edit button) the pictures provided were perfect. the cans have this kind of reflection of the metallic color , so using the interlocking metal under the cans only seemed fitting.
