It's going to be nearly impossible for me to vote  All of them deserve to win!

Can we have an option like "all of them" or "tie"... or "aaaaaargh!" :D

Voted :D

Wow, that was a tough decision ... I think all of them are worthy of being added to the list of themes.

Sorry I couldn't finish my design on time ... other priorities ... but I do plan on finishing it instead of leaving it to decay in a lonesome folder on my desktop.

Very well done all of you!

They all look good, and I'v voted, but I actualy think the current theme is best.

At least keep it as an option when you change!

As far as I am aware the winning entry is not going to become the main theme, but MAY become a selection in the future. Am I right dM?

I agreee that it's hard to beat the current theme.
Several of those are a little hard on the eyes, as sooon as the page opened, I started to squint.

One of those stood out for sure though... good luck all!

Well here's where I'd gotten up to when the competition ended. It's still not finished but I intend to get it done today or tomorrow.

There are a few bugs I've still got to smooth out. The header looks strange at higher resolutions. The nav bar is looking strange, with a white line on the right side that shouldn't be there ... also I can't figure out how to get the bit where it says "Posting Info" up to the top of the nav bar in FF and Opera, although it behaves itself in IE7.

Don't mind the category borders ... just playing around with them ... though not sure how to space them out from each other ...

If you've got any suggestions or comments I'd like to hear them :D

That was my second choice for a logo ... this was my first: Image

But unfortunately the author of the dragon didn't give me permission to use it.

Bwahahaha. Breeze, that dragon looks like he's been smacked down and fallen flat on his face and the rest of his body doesn't know what to do with itself. If that were in ozzu's logo, I'd burst out laughing every time I visited the site. Too bad the artist didn't permit it's use, it's brilliant! =)

Well, that was one of the most difficult choises of my life.
Why don't we add the first 2 (or 3) to select as a theme.
There'll more choice then.

I have decided that I will take upon myself the responsibility of managing the whole jelly-wrestling match, so firstly I have asked celandine which flavour jelly she would like to have and she chose strawberry, so we'll have a wrestle in strawberry flavoured jelly, now jameson, you can choose the size of this "ring" (If you would so like to call it) ... now we have a choice between three sizes here ...

3m x 3m
5m x 5m
8m x 8m

Now these are the three regulation sizes you can choose from ... please make a careful decision as each of these have their pros and cons ...

3m x 3m sounds nice and challenging.. there's nowhere to run that way. :)

I have to warn Celandine, though, I look pretty good in a bikini. Wouldn't want her to be too distracted to wrestle...

She's getting a silver string bikini and you are getting a leopard print man thong ... Now this is unfortunately not up for debate ... These rules are according to article 4 section C subsection IV ... I will still find a suitable place to hold this match and suggestions are welcome ...

I'm taking the liberty of appointing myself official referee. I'm going to need a black and white striped shirt, a whistle, and a cement truck full of jelly.

According to Article 5 Section G, the jelly must arrive in a cement truck, and the referee must start the match by pulling the switch, releasing the jelly into the arena.

sounds good to me.... spork, add a pair of shorts to that striped shirt - we don't want the audience (or the wrestlers) focusing in the wrong direction...
I believe that Subsection III of Section B of Article 7 states the jelly needs to be just under knee-depth, so make sure we have sufficient quantities... the ring is cozy enough, it shouldn't be too hard..........

Unflux - I second jameson's statement - zoom will not be necessary (although I'll be packing no socks at all)

jameson - I confess I am a little worried about getting distracted by the man-thong, but that's all part of the game.......... I'll try some zen meditation before the match to make sure my focus is where it should be....

dM, will you take book? bets are on..............

what shall we do about location?

I vote for the maldives. pick one of those uninhabited islands - we don't want to entertain anyone but ozzuites. we'll set up the rink on the white sand. wrestlers get sponsored for travel fees. (I don't make enough to be able to afford the ticket...)

Maldives works for me. This is going to be quite an event. Perhaps afterward I'll go lie on the beach. With a nice coating of red jelly and white sand, I wont even need sunblock on the parts of me not covered with leopard print man thong.

I really haven't been involved too much in looking after competitions, once in a blue moon I suggest somthing & write up a list of rules soo large that not even I want to read them all when I look at them later.

I did see Unflux & SB discussing the subject backstage recently though. :D

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. I'd be more than willing to help out with images or more CSS or anything if there's talk of adding the winning entries to the list of themes...

I did already purchase a fine-looking leopard print man thong, so if there can be only one new theme.. bring on the jelly!
