@ ATNO/TW thanks for the reply. I never use any copyrighted work. I make my own stocks or use stocks from http://www.sxc.hu ... I guess this one is manipulated enough lol

I use photoshop (You can download the 30 Day trail from Adobe) ... But I learnt it in class, so the tutorials I have assume that you're already familiar with Photoshop ... the link is http://www.photoshopcafe.com ... No point in not trying ...

You don't need photoshop, i think a very easy solution (albeit simple one) is just using Paint. It does the same thing, only you'll have to to work a bit harder to make it work.

This competition isn't designed for any level of ability, the sole purpose is to have fun in doing whatever you can.

Yes true ... there are also freeware applications that work pretty much the same like GIMP for instance ... but FUN is the most important factor ... thank you SB

Art competition? Hmm.. Art is not a sport, so it's very subjective.

I call it "Nightmare".

Sanbase, just a couple things...

1) file is way to wide and breaks one of the rules not to mention general Ozzu rules which you have been told about many many times. Please learn to read.

2) even if this entry was remotely close to the subject title, which in my opinion it isn't, then you need to rename the file to your username.

I'm going to remove your image and change it into a link. If i see another image of yours that exceeds the allowed inline image width then i'm going to change it without any notification. You should already know how the rules here work as i i've linked it to you on many occasions.

You've done everything required for the competition, the only thing i have a problem with is the actual submission. It has nothing to do with heat in any way. I mean, if you are more than willing to explain where "heat" comes into your entry then by all means do.

Actually SB that entry actually does have to do with heat. It's still abstract, but there is a flame there in the image and for the first time I will say that is the only image I have liked of yours to date Sanbase. It's a consideration for my vote, although at the moment I think there is at least one better.

Because of the comp I finally got around to making a dragon that I've wanted to do for a while now (need motivation sometimes)... wish I had knew about the competion a bit sooner. This is what I've go so far. Is it OK if I tweek and update it later? :D

I've never seen this happen, that's why you can't edit posts in the competitions area ... I don't think you're allowed ... You've got to ask a mod, but I don't know if they'll give you permission ...

Let's try getting you to understand the rules before discussing whether or not you can tweak your entry.

I removed the image in your post "The Dude" due to the width of the file exceeding Ozzu Inline Image rules and competition rules as Grinch2171 mentioned in the above reply.

Sorry my bad, as far as tweaking is concerned I only meant could I continue to work on the photo as long as it's before the comp is over.

In the mean time I will make sure that my pic meets your standards before resubmitting it.

That's not entirely true RT.

There is nothing in the rules to say you cannot amend the image even further providing it's done before the competition completion date is met.
