There are no stipulations on what you can do "extra" -- only that the "required" aspects are met. So yes, you can use sound effects.

Here is my entry, I think it qualifies...

Its 500x500, 182Kb, has Ozzu in it, a pair of eyes, and my own 'artistic' interpretation of stripes, but if you feel otherwise I will pull the entry.

I know I can do better than this, but I've been too busy to spend any large amount of time on an entry, so this will have to do.

Also.... for some reason the preloader seems to be a bit borked, so I may mess with that later, but other than that the entry will remain unchanged.

There are no prizes. Our competitions are designed to encourage designers to improve their skills. The self gratification of winning is reward enough.
