Over the last few years Ozzu has introduced many different competitions for the member to participate in. Two of the more common competitions found on Ozzu are the Digital Art and Photography competitions, with the Photography one initially starting on September 1st 2003 and the Digital Art competition initially starting up on February 16th 2006.

It seemed wrong not to allow you all the opportunity to see how everyone has done over the last 4 years, so having spent the last short while i've compiled all the information on the competitions previous winners and given you all a ranking in the hope that you might see this as something to improve on.

I'm working on creating a more automated system, however in the meantime i am hoping this will suffice. If you have any suggestions on anything you would like to see or be included in this topic then please don't hesitate in sending a PM to me with your suggestion.

Over the coming days i also hope to have some sort of statistics up here for you to all have a look at. As you might imagine, this sort of stuff takes time to put together so i'm not going to set a fixed date on doing this.

Good luck!

Could you merge Mr. Sehguh and Mr. Hughes please? They have the same user id in the database table.

I had no idea that was the case. I'll do that in a few moments and update it soon enough.

Hey everyone and especially SB,

I've scripted a program with PHP to make the Ozzu Statistics easier to adjust.
It's now an automatic list on a webpage. The only thing that has to be changed is the points someone has. It's automaticaly sorted.

It can be found here: Ozzu Statistics

I'm feeling free to answer, because I made it ;)

It's a php file in which an array is entered with all the winners and their points. A arsort() function of php sorts it on points. It's set in a table after that with a while-construction that echoes the array. There is also one part of the program that knows what the highest number of achieved points is. That part also makes the one with most points gold, the ones with one less silver and the one with 2 less bronze. That works with if/ifelse/else.

I would say though Fabinator, i've found the rankings doesn't order it in alphabetical order on the amount of wins. It doesn't matter how i organise it in the file, it is still not working. I'm not sure how it works, not had as much time to figure it all out.

I'll have a look at it over the coming days and sort it out so that it is in alphabetical order from the amounts won. A work in progress. Thanks to Fabinator for the help in producing the coding though.

Woo hoo! Looks like I need to jump back into another competition or two & rack up a few more points! :)
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Wouldn't this be easier to put into a sql table? Admin/SB just clicks [+] next to a winner's name, and voila! Dynamically sorted descending wins and alphabetical tied places.

I've sort of neglected this of late. As soon as i get the time i'll work on improving this, whether it be physically or on the behind the scenes way.
