Photography Competition #7: Abandoned

Hello everyone!

This months subject: Abandoned

Rules: This is strictly a photography contest! No photochopping, but contrast, brightness, levels and other minor touch-ups (healing tool will be allowed for film and print scans). Please avoid any text on the photograph, except at most a copyright statement, remember distractions like text can take away from the composition. Digital and film photography are both allowed. Only one submission per user will be allowed. Your entry must have something abandoned in it, like cars, buildings, houses, or anything else that is abondoned. You MUST have taken the image yourself.

Length: Competition closes Saturday, December 11th at 10:00 PM EST. Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

The winner needs to PM me the topic for the next competition (please try to think up topics while voting goes on, in case you win).

btw -- my images are temporarily down. Server issues where they are stored, but should be up again soon. I'll leave them as is for now, but will move them elsewhere later if need be.

The next time I get to pick the topic, remind me to pick something I already have a shot of. Hehehehe.

Hmm...this is interesting and I love prohography. I shuold enter...gotta find something that is abandoned first.

When my dad comes home tonight, I will get all of the old photos out, We've have one thats about 20-30 years old of the first ever house in the area we come from, it was about 50 years old these house when it was taken and the house was about to be bulldozed. Very cool photo! Looks like a haunted house!

how do you put a picture in

You need t have it stored somewhere on the internet. If it's a large picture, just add the link to the URL where you have the image. If it's small enough you can post it inline like Musik did. It would look like this:



If you do post it inline make sure it's less than 600 pixels wide.
