Not changing my mind from the last votes. Whilst i like both photos, there is one that stands out as being simply outstanding.

y'know, I kind of share your feeling. I was really surprised - not that cowkiller and jupiter won (because they really are both striking pics) - but that some of the other pics did as poorly as they did. i thought the voting would be much more even than it was, with someone winning by just a small percentage. there really were a lot of good pics submitted.

and I'm also terribly curious to hear people's thoughts on why they voted for the pic they voted for. i imagine we should keep out votes and reasons secret until the contest is officially decided though.

I agree allgoodpeople, there were soooo many good photos and i also have to give your photo a bit of praise. I really like the way the sun reflected on the sea in your photo. I am surprised it never won, but like you said, there are a LOAD of good photos in the comp.

i voted for allgoodpeople in the first round. i love that way his pic made me feel. serene and relaxed, not a care in the world

wow there's a tie! has that ever happen before? i thought all the pictures were great and surprise some of them scored that low.

I'm eager to see what the next competition is because i might try it out.

There has been a tie a few times before. Not everytime it finishes as a single winner, there has been the odd time when there would be a joint winner and it just remains at that.

btw - I still can't load the photo's properly from that link. I loads about and inch and then stops.

Strange. No problems here Jupiter. Are you using Firefox? If so then why not right click it then click "View Image". That might work.
