Hello everyone!

This months subject: Alone

Rules: This is strictly a photography contest! No photochopping, but contrast, brightness, levels and other minor touch-ups (healing tool will be allowed for film and print scans). Please avoid any text on the photograph, except at most a copyright statement, remember distractions like text can take away from the composition. Digital and film photography are both allowed. Only one submission per user will be allowed.

From this round I have changed the rules slightly to also allow borders around your entries. It still must come under the size dimesions, however a simple white border with a thin black outer border will be accepted. (no other border types allowed)

You MUST have taken the image yourself.

Max size dimension: 600x600
Max file size: 150kb
Max standard black and white border size: 15px total
(Please ensure your entry meets the above before entering your image)

Length: Competition closes Monday, June 6th 2005 at 7:00 PM GMT. Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

The winner needs to PM me the topic for the next competition (please try to think up topics while voting goes on, in case you win).

Let me begin.

Myself by the Hel Bay in Poland.

//removed -- tojan, I removed this for you (sadly it was a great picture, but it has to be one you took yourself) Simply submit another picture that qualifies for the competition. Musik is on vacation. If you need a place to store it, PM me and I'll give you an email address to send it to and I'll host it for you -- ATNO

BTW. Hel Bay is excellent place for windsurfers. In The whole bay you won't find a spot that would be deeper than 3 feet.

Nice photograph Tojan.

This is an interesting theme/subject this time. I can see it being quite amusing already as some people might have some fun with it (or maybe just lots of SAD pictures which could be funny too!). Either way I think the submissions will be entertaining.

Musik, this is my favorite topic, so I'm going to take part in every single competition :)

Someone else took this picture, so technically I wasn't alone. Does it disqualify this picture? :)

Thanks, Bigwebmaster.
Indeed, this is interesting theme. I hope, there won't be many sad pictures. I would find this picture more contemplative than sad.
I don't think I would find a single sad picture in my whole picture collection (it's big enough to harass Musik's topics till the end of Ozzu's life) :)

Oh shoot, I've missed this part. What do I do now?
Can I withdraw my entry or should I just change it?

What's the official stance on using timers? Does that count as having taken the picture yourself? Nice shot though tojan, I like the shades of blue.

I've already done that, but there is no reply.
I can't chage my current entry, so please be understanding.

Sorry for this misbehaviour :)

Here's my entry.
Taken at the Great Canadian Bungee last summer. The day I went bungee jumping at a height of 200 feet (the highest in North America)
