The contests are in some respect up to interpretation. For example my frog isn't in a true sense "aquatic" but it is amphibian and does reside in and near water. I interpreted that as qualifying.

What I was thinking was my little brother playing in the Michigan Lake but I decided that doesn't qualify.

Now I'm looking for the picture of a lighthouse museum made out of rocks sculpted to look like sea shells, but I'm not sure that qualifies as well.

In my opinion both of those would qualify.

Alright, I will look for that lighthouse a little more vigorously. If I can't find it, I will go with the first thought.

I agree with spork here. Humans enjoy water and swimming. There are so many different human activity photos you could take with water that would suggest aquatic life.

I've just remember after seeing Breezes entry that i had a not so memorable trip to the Aquarium in Melbourne just before i left Australia. I took hundreds of photos in there, but alot never turned out good. I might go see if there is one i can dig up and post it.

Watch this space.

Nice shot dM. I'd be curious to see that side by side with the color version to see which I'd like better. Great clarity on the fish tank.

Your b&w is the better choice for the comp for sure. Much more artistic, but that is a really pretty fish bowl. Did you stage your kid, or just catch him while he was looking?

Yeah, I thought so too. It was more of a photog-on-the-prowl kind of situation. No staging, but not entirely luck.
