Photography Competition #37: Beautiful Blur

Howdy!

The next topic is : Beautiful Blur. What does the subject of this competition make you think of? Be creative!

Rules: This is strictly a photography contest! No photo chopping, but contrast, brightness, levels and other minor touch-ups (healing tool will be allowed for film and print scans). Please avoid any text on the photograph, except at most a copyright statement, remember distractions like text can take away from the composition. Digital and film photography are both allowed. Only one submission per user will be allowed.

You MUST have taken the image yourself.

Max size dimension: 640px (including border)
Max file size: 150kb
File name: Please name your entry the same as your user name (or as close to as possible if your user name has characters that are not allowed in file names)
(Please ensure your entry meets the above before entering your image)

Length: Competition closes Monday February 25, 2008

Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

Ohh this should be fun.

This is a tough one... I'm back in the runnings by the way, so watch out for heavy things falling from a tower block near you... *whistles*

This is of a fence to stop people going in the drink on the walk down the wharf to the stockton-newcastle ferry. My green shirt = green reflections

i have been poking around the forums.. lots of reading..

Cheesy, the only thing wrong with the entry is the width of the image. It is too wide, it shouldn't exceed 640 pixels in width.

If you send a Private Message to one of the moderators of this forum (613flavah, UNFLUX, digitalMedia, Musik, ATNO/TW, or myself) with the new sized image link then one of us will change it for you.

I'll try and contribute this time, i should have more access to the web with my laptop over the coming week.

this is one of the strongest competitions we've had recently. thumbs up for monsindara and breeze, both beautiful pictures. I'm thinking of one I want to enter - just need to find it..........

It took me 2 hours or something to convince monsindara to enter that picture! Its truly amazing, and I am glad she finally decided to enter it

it's a very moving picture.
