Props to 613flavah for the topic - I'm excited to see some participation this go-round. I knew I should have held out to check out the competition. :D

Hopefully we get more than a few options to vote from this go-round! w00t!
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Just to clarify, my  applied to both entries thus far. :)

I think you two may have scared me off of entering this one. :P

With all this mist, I think I'll throw this one into the mix:

Here's mine. It's a b&w picture of a b&w pencil sketch I've been working on for a couple months.

Thanks, labrego! Yes, I did it myself. I started it a couple weeks before Advent last year. I haven't finished it yet, though. It's kind of a pain to work on because it's on two seperate sheets of architectural vellum (The back sheet is The Father, the fore sheet is The Son and the Holy Spirit is on both - that's supposed to be clever). I have to keep it in a frame or the vellum will start to curl up.

Yup, I have lots of sketches. I just started on one for Pentecost the other day.

That IS certainly clever, not the best way to work with it, as you say, but truly clever.

You should put them on a gallery or something, I surely could even buy one print of those for myself. I love the expression on Jesus's face that you achieved.

 What can I say? Wow! You just made my day - my week, actually. Well, now I'm going to have think about this some more.

My wife digs his expression too. I've never understood why artists through the ages have made him looking so dour and sullen.

I now completely understand your avatar dM. You did that yourself didn't you? I never knew you did pencil sketches, let alone that you were good at it! Very nice indeed.

Thanks man! Yep, I drew may avatar also which I'm told is uncanny in its resemblence. That is my 'style', you might say - at least when it comes to pencil and paper.
