Aighty, I guess I'm first on the chopping block. I noticed that technically, submissions don't have to be b&w to qualify, but I felt the most appropriate way to use the colors was to honor the tradition of monochrome photography.

Black/White always feels most at home to me in a cemetery session. This one's from Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Founded in 1852 by 15 men who each gave $500 to purchase the original 40 acres, Elmwood's one of the most beautiful I've had the pleasure to shoot. It doubled in size following the Civil War, and according to the website, it's the final resting place to "mayors, governors, madams, blues singers, suffragists, martyrs, generals, civil rights leaders, holy men and women, outlaws and millionaires."

I have a couple of ideas for this; I hope my little Canon PowerShot is up to the challenge of actually producing a decent photo :-/

Ooh, can't resist a B&W photo comp, so here's my entry - Middle Meadow Walk, on a misty morning. I took this on the way to work one day. It looks a bit sinister in the photo, however it was actually quite pleasant.

Those PowerShots can do anything you want. I used to have the A530 and they're a great camera :D Good luck with the competition!

I know the photo i am going to use and it too has a fog effect, however it's nothing compared to what has already been submitted.

I'll get my entry up soon.

So are we disqualifying unflux from this since he always wins photography comps with his b&w shots? ;)

Just by amazing coincidence I have a photo I took in black and white a few weeks ago and it is still on my camera at home, will post it later.

UPSguy. I love Elmwood cemetery. I visit it regularly. Gorgeous place, they were even considering opening up some property for homes in the place but I think that fell through.

Now I gotta get a good shot.......

I'll definitely have an entry in this one. Just need to find my motivation. Haven't taken part in a competition on Ozzu for a long time now.
