What's the difference between the wind putting something somewhere, and me, we're both part of nature.

My point is, any placement is technically valid. What's normal for the dirt under a rock, is alien to me. :D
Why yes, yes I am.

Thanks to all for the kind words. It's one of my favs that I have taken. The tree is indeed a cypress. It's one of the many found in Reelfoot Lake.

Joebert's right, they grow there naturally, but there's a bit more to it, too. Reelfoot Lake was created by the New Madrid Earthquakes in the early 1800's, so without the earthquake, there'd be no water for the tree to live in. In the end, I guess you could say that's a natural occurrence, too. Heck, it's all relative.

There's actually a pretty decent read about the lake on wikipedia here if you're looking to lose 15 minutes of your life in the name of useless knowledge, lol.
