I will upload an entry. My Digital camera decided to stop working last week so just today i bought a new camera which i should have arrive in the post tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

As soon as i get this camera i will take some pics and decide what i will use for this competition. The Digital Camera i have bought it a Canon 350D SLR. Aparently it is supposed to be a fantastic camera, and i have also done a good job in managing to buy it for £300 (About $600).

I think its a really cool picture with the smoke and the guitarr shadow. Its taken with a quite crappy camera at the cramped Tivoli in Helsingborg the 10th of november by me..

The lady on the picture is [Lisa Miskovsky] , She's so ultra energetic its incredible... Her music is a bit like Jewel or heather nova but a little bit more Rock-inspired I think.

For some lyrics and 2 more pictures; [My lJ]

Just a few of the vast collection of LP records I have to turn digital. Twenty-seven of approx. 450 albums are shown. Damn, I have alot of work ahead of me...

I think taking a Photograph has to come from what you see and appreciate every day. If you see something musical then take a picture of this if you think it means something. I mean, it could be a CD or an instrument of some sort. If you want to be creative, you need to look at the surrounding area of the subject and see how if you were taking this photography what you would like to show the rest of the viewers.

Don't feel uncomfortable when taking and image or even thinking about it. Just do it. If you think about it too much then I'm pretty certain in a few hours you will still be sitting there thinking about what you can do for this competition. These competitions are all about having fun while still showing everyone what you are capable of. People that participate in these competitions are generally just amateur photographer who just want to have a wee bit of fun.

I hope you find something that you think is important and share it with us psuedofy.

I agree with you 100%, SB, it should be something you enjoy and feel comfortable with. Just take a look around your room, house, or even workspace and think how it can relate to the subject. I mean, for example, if I weren't already uploading this collection of albums onto my server, I would of looked around through other thing that were lying around, like photo albums, games, etc...
