jflynn you tie your own flies? Sweetness, I tried that a few years ago but didn't quite get the hang of it and lately I've been thinking about dusting off my little tool kit and giving it a go again. One fly that I did tie is a super easy one. Just get yourself a small-to-medium sized dry fly hook and a small beige colored rubber band and some olive colored thread, cut the rubber band to make it no longer a circle, and tie it onto the hook all lumpy, and voila! you've got a little grub. It works pretty well on pan fish and small stuff like that.

kc0tma,

that's an interesting idea, that fly I have on the Flikr site was from just screwing around.... I actually tie better flies then that. Nothing special though.
Example of a "go to" fly that I tie lots of.

Oh yeah, the classic royal wulff, that was one of them that I could actually do. Wooly buggers were my favorite because they are so ridiculously easy.

The gallery has been restored. Polls should be forthcoming as soon as flavah or SB can get to them.
