Photography Competition #38: Photos of People Taking Photos

Howdy!

The next topic is : Photos of People Taking Photos. It's pretty self-explanatory. This should be a goody! Be creative, don't just take a photo of yourself in the mirror.

Rules: This is strictly a photography contest! No photo chopping, but contrast, brightness, levels and other minor touch-ups (healing tool will be allowed for film and print scans). Please avoid any text on the photograph, except at most a copyright statement, remember distractions like text can take away from the composition. Digital and film photography are both allowed. Only one submission per user will be allowed.

You MUST have taken the image yourself.

Max size dimension: 640px (including border)
Max file size: 150kb
File name: Please name your entry the same as your user name (or as close to as possible if your user name has characters that are not allowed in file names)
(Please ensure your entry meets the above before entering your image)

Length: Competition closes Friday April 4, 2008

Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

I'm still brainstorming on what i want to do exactly. Im hoping to get a shot done this weekend.

I have only one photo i can think of using, but this is of someone i don't know well enough to have their permission to publish onto the web.

To be honest, the topic title is too specific.

I'll have a picture, just have to get with some of my friends to take it.

there is no need for the person's picture to be taken in a way that would reveal their identity. They can have their back to you or have their head hidden by the camera. The whole point of this comp is to be creative. If you can't think of anything well then you're not being creative enough

I must also add here seeming as i'm majorly off topic (at the mo) that DM's entry is really really good. Hopefully we'll see others take part here, i might contribute yet.

Yeah same here, seeing as most people I know are away right now, and I don't have any photos of that kind with me, I'll have to stage something or go around looking for someone taking photos which could prove quite difficult ... I don't like the idea of staging a photo like that, but then again, it's a nice challenge I think ... Hope I'll have time for this ...
