Hey thanks guys. Nope its not mine. I've killed my two attempts at Bonsai trees and finally decided that I don't have what it takes for that hobby.

The photo subject is actually a prize winner from a local club competition.

That is an awesome bonsai, both the tree itself as well as the photo. That reminds me so much of the "miniature" photo manipulation comp that dM put out about a year ago.

I never thought much of Bonzai trees until i started hearing that some sold for tens of thousands of £/$'s

Could be tempted to spend some time on a bonzai tree in the hope i am good enough to make an income out of it. I'd be a professional bonzai tree pruner...awesome!

Actually, your entry is eligable because the topic title isn't just "trees", it is "shadows" too. There is a shadow on the leaf of the plant, so to me that makes it eligable.
