No, the picture has to be taken by you, does not have to have you in it. Not sure where you got confused on that.

Your good seventh. You didn't break any rules.

The contest is now closed and we only received one entry. I'm willing to extend the entry by a few days if there are any more ppl who are willing to give this a go? We really only need at least one more entry...

I don't want to cause any problems here, but is that last entry just a photograph? i mean, it hasn't been edited with any image editing software has it?

I ask because the more i look at it the more i think that it has been edited more than just the border. Paying particular attention to the backgound.

Looks like your standard plain old white wall to me. I'm not seeing what you seem to be seeing SB.

as for me, I think that even if there were some changes made in Photoshop to this shot, they are so insignificant that can be neglected

Steps done:
Took the 205782x2082 (or whatever its gigantic size is) image from the camera and reduced to 500x375.
copied it.
Made new document 520x395, used gradient to make the "frame" then pasted in the pic on top as a new layer.
Added "copyright" by adding a new layer, putting in font, beveling it, and then using hard light on the layer. Threw that on there as a batch of many I plan to put on flickr.

The picture layer wasn't moded at all, if you want just the pic its on the camera =)
cybershot dsc-t1, neat little thing, but man it isn't very accurate on colors, that wall is white, but its WI, and it was cirrus clouds outside modifing the sun light through the blinds in the kitchen.
