I like film cameras much more than a digital.
Its great for you that you are shooting with film. Shooting on a digital is much simplier.

nukacola, like you said in your next-to-last message, this is a place for webmasters, not digital artists and photographers, and that's probably also why our participation isn't exactly through the roof. Those who want to truly cut their teeth on some real challenges know to go to places like CGNetwork, IllustrationFriday, Worth1000, DPChallenge, ePhotoZine, etc. I studied photography for years, and I would never have entered either my sketch or my snapshot on any of those sites. But that doesn't mean I can't have some fun, just for the fun of participating and feeling more a part of this community. This is a place where those of us who dabble can have some fun and yes, submit joke entries, without feeling totally self-conscious.

SB, as you are a student of photography and here to learn, let me enlighten you: my submission was a snapshot, not a photograph. Just so y'know. =]

I find nukacola to be somewhat rude and lacking some basic understanding of what these competitions are for.

The last I checked the comps were not for someone to come in and criticize our stuff, especially when they have not participated in any of the comps.

I was under the impression that they were for fun and for some of us to show off our talents or lack there of in my case.
