It was just a competition of photographing a piece of tile?
Whats the point? Where is the art side of the pictures?

When you will take another photographic competition? I would like to take part in it.

Last photo comp winner suggested the topic "Tiles" if you ever win, then you can pick whatever topic you feel is appropriate.

Next comp will be whenever justG emails me the topic of his choice

Weldone JustG. I think the voting was brilliantly done, It was a tough decision to make, so for there to be 1 vote between all 3 entries to decide the winner then i think we can be pleased with the entries posted.

He is actually a She. Isn't he/she?

The G stands for Gina, so unless i'm mistaken "Gina" is a female name.

Well, I'd expect you to have a little imagination and creativity when aiming a photograph. If you can't think of how a photograph that includes tiles as an element of the photograph might be interesting, that's your fault.

I dont think there is something interesting in the photo that has won!
I really think that there is no imagination for that photo. No names.

I`m not telling you that I have the best imagination.

This is not the smartest conversation.
I am not a person who wants to crash anything. I just realy want that the competitions here would be much better. I want it to be more challenging, more photographs to vote for, better photo quality, etc.
Being a photographer I dont wanna take part in a competition like that.

Everyone want to reach the better results, do ya?

I completely appreciate what you are saying nukacola, but it is up to people like yourself and even myself to take part in these sort of competitions and make them better. If your a photographer then you are bound to have a higher understand of a good photograph than an amateur that has posted their pictures.

I am studying photography right now, and i look to these competitions to have an understanding of a good photograph and i will agree that some of the latter have not been that good. I think it does go down to the topic title, however anyone can make a good picture out of anything if they put a little thought in what they are doing. People don't see these competitions as being something worth spending a great deal of time to work towards as there are no rewards. It is all for a bit of fun.

When the next topic starts, i really want to take part. I hope you will also take part as well and we can see how good we can make it. Just remember that everyone here dosn't really take part to win. Some can be joke entries, and some might be amateur photographs the member will have found in their archives somewhere. Let's enjoy the fact we have a competition section on this site.
