finally i can take part in a competition lol

well, this is one of the shots i took ask part of my photography course at college.

My course subject is water, as part of the natural world. The shot was taken at a park, 30 mins from my house

Darkermoon, that is one awesome beach! Where is that? I think I need to plan my next vacation around one of those beach chairs!

'Twas a tough choice for me..... but I picked this one as my entry. Not my best, but it's the only one I've got that fits the theme, lol.

At the moment, I'm very torn between NaNoBoT and dM's rendition of this. I have my own version of the tranquility concept and it is hanging on my wall behind me as a type...a 15 year old enlargement of a sunset overlooking the Smokey Mountains, just on the outskirts of Asheville NC. Unfortunately I cannot find the original to scan it in. Even if I found it, I know it would not compete with the camera quality of the two mention (albeit it's a 35 mm and is typical of film quality)...but it gives me that inner sense of peace and tranquility every time I look at it. If I can't find the original for the scan by the time the comp is expired I'll take a picture of the picture just to show you.

Yeah, i have no problems seeing it now. Must have been my connection playing up again as it sometimes does.

Nice picture though, i dont see why you think its not the best. Very Tranquil, definatly one of the top few when the poll takes place IMHO.

This was taken at one of the bays on Biloxi Beach, Mississippi.
The beach isn't really that nice as the storm trains of the city dump into them, but there are some nice islands you can take a ferry out to.
