as promised, i went out on a drive on Saturday and took some pictures. It was probably the best day (weather wise) i could have done this. Very sunny!

Here you go, here is my entry...

I would have made it appear on the screen but the size of it on this forum is HUGE. Its not the best picture, but it was as good as i was probably going to get within the 30 miles from my house i was going to get.

Thanks, I've got tons of great pics, mainly from Poland (European State, not a region in Maine or bottled water:) , but recently my brother took amazing pictures in Thailand, Laos and Kambodia.

If you se those pictures you'll understand why it's good, that he doesn't take part in this competition.

BTW. This trip can be a good example of what you can see for a little more than 1 K dollars.

I was taking an early morning stroll by the ocean in Peru and I came across this pelican catching some zzz's near the ocean shore! It looked so peaceful I would have felt awful had I woken it.

My version of tranquility. Somewhat different than the rest, but gardening is my sense of tranquility and this picture of the first bushel of tomatoes I ever picked reflects it. I wish I had a better camera for quaility, but I always sit back in peace when I recall this moment:

wow! i just looked at all the entries and counted them all as well as taking a list of all that has put forward and came to 14 entries. The entries were by...
