Cuerock... they were all good (including yours). Willstein's pic would have been my second choice though. It shows some real creativity, but the date thing in the pic got to me. I just couldn't do it.

P.S. I wanted to join this competition so bad. I have a picture of a Kodiak bear from the Pittsburgh zoo taken with a 300 mm telephoto that looks like I'm standing 3 feet away from it. He's submerged in water and his head is sticking out on a rock. I know I have the original somewhere, but couldn't find it to scan it I enlarged and framed it to 28x30 something, but didn't want to take a dummy photo of my enlargement to enter.. I know I could have won this one on that picture. *sighs....next time.

Yes diversity is the key! These competitions should also help you become inspired for the next round and help you hone your skills for going out and shooting a specific topic (not in this case since it was open).

*lol at b_heyer. Don't worry...I already thought of that. I just need to find out where the heck I stashed my originals so I can scan 'em. They're up in my attic somewhere. Hoping they still retained the quality.
