No there ain't 26hrs... It clearly says, entries in by 10pm EST Feb 23rd, and voting lasts for 5 days. That's 10pm EST 28th Feb (today, not tomorrow), so that leaves a lil under 4hrs ;)

lol ok, so I'm just being a pain in the ass, but like Unflux says, the suspense is killnig me too, lol.

Nope, doesn't depend on your time zone. 10PM EST is 10PM EST wherever you are ;)

Your local time will be different, but 10PM EST will always be 10PM in the EST timezone - which is 3hrs 40mins from now :)

yes I know, and iut should show the time on the top in your local time zone, not at EST.

my mistake was that I though tommarow was saturday.

No, the original post with the rules says 10pm EST :)

The forum will show whatever timezone you set it to, but they can't close a competition at "10pm local time", otherwise, the people at the end of the timezones are gonna have 23hrs longer than everybody else to vote/get their entries in. There has to be a single standard timezone to apply to everybody.

when I say it shows your local, I mean it converts it to your local time

Yes, the timestamp on the posts does...

But if I type 10pm EST right now, then this post is always gonna say 10pm EST, regardless of your time zone, and regardless of the current time - unless a moderator comes in and edits the post ;)

I'd like to thank the almighty Nikon, without whom none of this would be possible :D

Thanks for the votes guys.. and thanks to everybody who entered, all great photos.

dM - If you'd left the shutter open for about another second, I think yours would've won it. I know I'd have definitely voted for it :)
