I say we have a contest to draw a human man or woman digitally, nothing can be scanned or gotten from any other image source. Everything must be done digitally.

On a similar trend, how about a webdesign competition whereby all the pages must be smaller than, say, 5kb? i.e, any user could download the page in under a second...

Essentially, that means no graphics, flash, etc.. and coding to standards. I'd be game for that one. Pure HTML and Style...gotta luv it!

I'll need some more specifics? How can users check the size of the page (I am assuming it may be more then what the file is)? Also any other general things you could think of, I am game tho if you can get some specifics!

*shrugs...perhaps a screenshot of the FTP page? Or we can email you the file itself. Any other ideas?

I think you'll need to slim down the options a bit more, "man or woman human" leaves it open to a billion different ways of doing it, and because of so many ways, it can be a bit boring (one could simply sketch out a human). Maybe some things like a supervillian/superhero or something like that, but not just "any human".

Hmm. How about no images? You might have to think of clever ways to produce some aesthetic design, either through color use in tables or javascript. The file size that results from a File->Save As should be no more than 5kb (and no links to external files).

It needs a theme, though. Maybe something like a frontpage for minimalist art, or 80s computer games. Any other ideas?

Does the competition involve only drawing, photos and pictures? Can it be programming? Or web design?

Yeah it should be able to be anything webmaster related. Programming and web design fit into that category. If you have a competition request along one of those subjects you should make it :)

I'd definatly like to see some suggestions towards web design or programming.

I was thinking of writing a series of scripts that had certain bugs in them that had to be fixed, and the first person to complete it would win. Any ideas on that?
