Yeah!
Come on...please restart the Flash comps.or at least a poll to see how many would participate if you were to.
I have already PM'ed 613flavah and SB with possibilities as to how it could be run differently (easier for newbies).

I think the thing about starting a flash comp is that there will not be alot of participants. It's all good reading you both saying it would be a good competition, but actually taking part is another thing.
There are so many competition suggestions over the years here on Ozzu and some have been created but with little success.
I wouldn't rule out ever seeing a Flash competition on Ozzu again, but i think for the moment it might be put on hold for a bit longer.
I do agree that there should be more competitions, but when you consider the current competitions sometimes rarely get any participation (despite requiring low levels of knowledge on the subject matter). It takes 2 seconds to take a photograph, and about a minute or two to knock some digital graphic up using whichever software you have your hands on. For an amateur it is relatively easy to do, however Flash is a comp open to those only familiar with the software.
If more and more people show an interest over the coming weeks and months then i'm sure something could be arranged.
Thanks for the suggestions though.

REQUEST FOR A COMPETITION:
How about a photography contest of the Cities and People you have visited (not where you live). And photos of exotic things you have seen in places you have traveled.

We'll keep that in mind Thayk, though you have to keep in mind that some ppl may have never had the opportunity to travel outside their city so might feel excluded.

That's a good point. Perhaps an added rule should be that if the topic doesn't apply to you, you have to present your own town in a new way, not do the obvious. For example, I wouldn't be allowed to submit a photo of Disneyworld or a beach. =]

How about a technology competition?
The competitor would "invent" a piece of technology. (Draw an invented and totally new and created piece of technology or the whole technology). In other words, you create the technology yourself. Just to test the creativity skills. Mine are low but I love challanges.

This could be a fun competition. It would have to be somewhat different to the digital art competition, i mean all we need to do is have a Digital Art competition called "Inventions" that would cover this area and allow people to be as creative as they like.
Good idea though, although i'm not sure whether creating a new competition about Inventions is the best way forward, perhaps using current competitions to make this one work sometime. Unless you can elaborate on ways in which this would be different from Digi Art?
