Or how about music competition? The person who creates the best music or something?

I also had another suggestion but I have forgotten it. Whenever I remember it I will be sure to post it here.

The whole purpose of these competitions wasn't to just make random stuff up, but to try and make them relevant to the rest of the site content and general webmaster interest.

I'm not sure what you could really get from a Music competition. Feel free in elaborating on this by all means, but just saying "music" isn't really selling the idea to me.

Thought this may be an idea, I was thinking maybe a creative writing competition could be interesting. Cos not even takes photos or is able to create digital are. Maybe choose a topic, and have people write a story of so many words to do with it?

So, there's photo comps, digital art comps, and now a CSS competition... how about some sort of web scripting competition to broaden things? There could be a lot of possibilities... least lines of code to accomplish a task, most creative solution to a problem, etc.

And one of the comps I did on other forums was a SEO comp.

First you think of a search term with no results like "ozzu seo comp 4231"

Then people have to make one page an make sure they have the first result in google on that search words. The link to that page is your entry.

Then a moderator have to check the results at a specific time.

That would be fun :D.

I'm all for that, it could be rather interesting. I've got a couple of short stories that I've written that may be of use if this gets going ... :D

Hey, that sounds like a good idea. I'm sure I have a lot to learn about SEO, and this comp would definitely force me to figure some stuff out.

Yeah.. and one of the rules at that forum was that the winner has to tell the rest about his tactics, so I learned a lot there. I hope the mods like the idea.
