Let's do a smiley competition. Smiley's shouldn't be much larger then any of the current ones. Animations are a plus, but not required. Best smiley wins, and is placed with the rest of the emoticons, along with the creator getting 100 participation points.

heya. how about a 'who can make the best digital art comp' ?
in this one, you have to make your image from scratch, i mean you cant take anyone elses photos (like in the pic battle)
is this worthy?

So who can create the best "image of a computer" using whatever graphics programs they have? Not sure if that is what you kind of mean.

erm kind of, but you say .. 'image of a computer' ?
i dont mean that, you can create anything you want, but it has to be done using a computer, and it has to be your own material..
i mean like one of my forum signatures or whatever, you got me?

Back to basics:
The simplest of web design is back! You can only use the most basic tags necissary to create a page:
<HTML>
<TITLE>
<BODY>
<H1>
<H2>
<H3>
<FONT>
<A>
<BR>
<IMG>
<CENTER>
No other tags are allowed (BWM if you can think of any other of the beginner tags feel free to add). No external scripts, JS or PHP. Any images used must be from free clip-art resources, and must be sited when you submit (so keep track!). Counters/guestbooks/and other resourses must be supplied by free sites, and may not be your own creations. The site should be small, 3-7 pages, and should have a general theme/idea that is held through all pages. Finally no WYSIWYG, use only text editors!

I was contemplating with a friend how fun it used to be to make a website where you would just duplicate an image over and over again or something like that. And how now there is the whole image creation process, php, javascript, perl, all that stuff to make it more complicated. So I said...hrmmm that'd be a good competition idea!
