Signature Competition #1

Hello everyone!

Create a signature! Use your imagination!

Rules:

This is strictly an image only contest (.gif or .jpg format)

Your entry MUST contain one of all the following:
*something red
*a leaf (of any type)

Only one submission per user will be allowed.
You MUST have created the image yourself.


Max size dimension: no more than 100px high, 468px wide
Max file size: 8KB
(Please ensure your entry meets the above before entering your image)

Length: Competition closes Monday, August 8th 2005 at 7:00 PM GMT. Voting lasts five days after close of competition.

I am looking forward to taking part in this whenever i can. Hopefully i might do something good in the next couple of weeks.

When you say that you would prefer that the image is no bigger than 8kb, i am assuming you want the image to be that size irregardless of whether its linked to the site or not?

I cannot seem to make my image smaller than 20kb without damaging the look of the signature. When its 8 kb the image is less than 200pixels wide and 48pixels high. Because i have text it dosnt look good being that size.

I just thought i would ask this before going further.

I made it according to the sig rules of Ozzu, I think it will be a good test for you to design within given limits, as this is often how it is when designing for clients with specific needs.

You might need to change your design a little

I suppose you are right, i was just hoping it would be left as it is as its a piece of work i am kinda impressed with. Ah well, rules are rules.

A picture I had already immediately came to mind when I saw "red" and "leaf," so i had to use it.



This is a picture I took after I replaced my shocks on my truck a few months back.
As you can see, the shocks are red and the picture also contains the leaf springs of the suspension!

Ok, after sorting out the image size i have changed it to fit into Ozzu rules. Not the best piece of work and nowhere near as good as Lucassix's work, but its an entry.

These comps are about having a go at creating something, no matter what level your at, the people of Ozzu are too cool to make fun of other peoples work anyway
